Carpet

Alice loved her first crawl on the new carpet. It was the first time we have ever let her down to explore the new house on her own. She took several steps in the master bedroom, too! She has been walking more and more lately. Getting a little more confident every day. Being sick last week set her back a little, but she is practicing plenty now. Lately she has been going around blowing raspberries all day long. It sounds like a happy little kitty. Can she get any cuter?

A Long Week

The sweet little Peach is finally feeling better. Whatever it is that we caught is just lasting forever, and it made us miserable.
Since Alice has been feeling better she has been walking a lot more. She will take about 7-10 steps at a time. It is so sweet when she walks to us. And of course she is still walking her little pony all around the apartment. She just gets cuter and sweeter every day.

Sick Little Peach

Poor Peach and mommy are sick this weekend. It is just a cold I think, but it is the first time she has had a fever. She is so sweet and cuddly when she is feeling sick. She will sit on our lap all day with her head laid on our chest. A few times between fever spikes she will play on her pink horse or climb into the pantry. She has been eating well--especially apple sauce. She even asked for "more" in sign language last night! What a smart little Peach.

Cabinets, molding, paint and shelves

Jason says the kitchen picture looks like the kitchen from heaven. I agree! Our new house is so awesome-I just can't wait to get settled in. I keep having these dreams about moving. I will be so ready to stay put for a while. The coolest part about going to look around in the house yesterday--it already has that "new house" smell!

Happy, Happy Labor Day Weekend

Alice is a happy little girl--she tried Amy's ice cream this weekend! Of course she totally loved it. But later when we were shopping for a mattress in a fridge, she threw up three times! I felt so bad, and she was sure stinky after that.
We got the Peach's new lunch box in the mail from Mim-thanks! It has her name embroidered on the front. You can she she tested it out to make sure that it was good and sturdy. It passed the baby test!

Alice's 1st Birthday Party Pictures...Finally!

I can't believe that I forgot to upload the birthday pictures! We were pretty busy packing, moving, stay-cationing at the San Marcos River and starting the school year! Now we are all settled in to our apartment and have a few weeks down out of the new school year. What a wild and happy time we are having!
