All the things Alice can do at almost 15 months old

1. Say "bubble"

3. Wear pigtails or a pony tail!
4. Kiss her daddy and mommy on the lips
5. Use sign language when she wants another bite of mommy's cookie for breakfast
6. Play happily in her crib for 30 minutes to let her parents have a happy Halloween sleep in
7. Put cheerios from one cup to another to make sure they are even
8. Sit on a pink suitcase
9. Say "Boo!"
10. Blow kisses
11. Stick her finger in her mommy's nose
12. Climb up into the big rocking chair

Ewok and Yoda

This is Nolen, Alice's little school buddy. Can you hear the pure joy in her laugh for him? They have known each other since they were just a few weeks old. In fact, they are only 2 weeks apart. He is the cutest little thing, and I love him like he was my own boy!
After Alice's little Star Wars romp with Nolen, we took her to Booda-fest in Buda. It was cute. We saw lots of cute kids dressed up in costumes, and said hi to many students. The little Ewok was totally worn out after that. When I got her out of her car seat, she didn't even wake up. I carried her upstairs, got her out of her costume, and put her pajamas on without her waking up. So sweet.

Ewok at the Punkin Patch

She didn't sleep through the punkin patch this year like she did last year. The poor little thing had an ear and sinus infection, and I just learned today that she had been teething, too! One of those top molars is poking through now. But even with all that to deal with, she was a really cute little Ewok. We got rid of her little Ewok head piece after a while, and then she was Button the Bear from the bedtime story that we often read to her.

Our House is Finished!!!

Lovely, isn't it! But there is something that feels just a little wrong. Oh, yea, it's the giant port-a-potty that is STILL sitting in our front yard!!! I hope they have plans to move that thing.
I have been wondering this whole time what kind of bushes and trees they would put in. I don't know the name of either, but I love them both. We have those bushes at our school, and they have pretty little berries and turn red in the fall. I am so happy with them. I hope those are oak trees. I bet Abbey will be able to tell me what they are.

Abbey-style

In this video Alice reminds me of our old home movies when Abbey was a little toddler and she would run around the back yard with her little hands flying out behind her like that.

I hate to spoil the Halloween surprise, but I just couldn't help trying on part of the Peach's costume on today to see how cute it was. We got her a little bear costume at the store, and this is the head piece, but she is actually going to be something much cuter--an Ewok! I've got to make her a little Ewok head thing.
