Sick day-Home with Mommy

Well a girl has to look cute even if she doesn't get to see her main man, Nolen.

She is reading one of her very favorite books. It is one of those with the flaps that hide special pictures underneath. Well, on one page there is a cat hiding under a picnic blanket. Last night when we were reading this book to her before bedtime we all yowled real loud like our annoying Rosie cat every time she pulled up the blanket and saw the cat. We were laughing our heads off!

Good Friends

Here are some of our favorite people in the world. These are Kari's kids: Mischa, Lexi, Kristin, and Bryce.

Alice, 20 months old

In the picture where Alice is riding her lovely pink pony, you can see her making her special "bulldog" face. Precious, right?
The picture of Alice in front of the playground at school where she is wearing her peach shirt, you can see her little sign language for "Where did that bird go?"
She is happy as a clam sitting with her best friends, Rowan and Brynn, eating cheese pizza!

Playing with pictures

Bluebonnets

I took these pictures one day after school right in front of the downhill campus. We will have to dress the Peach up in a pretty sundress and take some "fancier" ones later.

Riding on the Train

We played hookie the other day and took Alice to ride on the train at Zilker park. We had a little picnic, too. I think she liked it, but she felt a little sick and sleepy. We had noticed a rash (red face and tiny bumps on her chest and back) a few days before. That night she got a fever. We took her to the dr. the next day and discovered that she had another double ear infection and maybe a virus that caused the rash. Poor baby.
