On the way home from Onion Creek tonight, we decided to stop by our new house in Buda to see if anything was new. Several houses along the block have popped up, and the foundation of our house is already done!!!
It was so cool to look around and imagine where all the rooms would go and what pipes went where. It looks really small with just the foundation there. I can't wait till they start framing it!
It is so awesome how things worked out for us this week: we get a contract on our house in San Marcos, and they start building our new one in Buda. Cool!
Looks like our days of relaxing and playing in the river are not going to be so plentiful. We will have to get pretty serious about packing. We close on this house and have to be out by August 12. That is only a month away! I'm so glad we are going to be able to move before the school year starts. This just worked out so well. Wow.
